Saint Laurent is an international fashion brand with an eloquent sense of style. Its most popular products are the Loulou and Puffer handbags lines. Widely regarded as one of the revolutionaries of leather fashion products, with a strong presence in the fragrance and beauty market, Saint Laurent is led by Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello.

 

Ownership

Saint Laurent now belongs to Kering, an influential company that also manages the Gucci Group, Alexander McQueen, Boucheron, and other fashion houses. In recent years Kering has developed its competence in their accessory category area in line with Saint Laurent’s image and strategy as a fashion house.

 

History

French designer Yves Saint Laurent founded the fashion house in 1962 with partner Pierre Bergé. Yves Saint Laurent took charge of the fashion company, expanding the apparel company with fragrance products for men and women. Creative director Hedi Slimane, who rebranded the fashion house in 2015, has been replaced by Anthony Vaccarello.
